Hard days...

Just when I think that things are starting to get better a day comes when I feel so discouraged. My 5 and a half year old started her day with quite a few absence seizures. She was " out of it" all day. I can just tell by looking at her somedays and know that she will have seizures that day. This was hard enough but then just before getting the kids in bed for the night my son who is 20 months has his first seizure since november! What a day. We have so many good days to be happy about but days like this make me feel so hopeless :(. I wonder if there is something specific triggering these latest seizures but am never sure what to attribute them to.

hANG IN THERE! I know what you mean...I am going through the same thing with my son. It seems lately there are more bad days then good. I say cherish the good days and reach out for support on the bad days. I will be praying for you and your family...I know how rough it is!

We have some of those hard days too!! There will be some seizure free days and then bam our daughter who is now 8 will either begin having cluster seizures or a bad when in the morning that will knock her out or make her pretty drowsy for the day. I often wonder if there is something that triggers them. I know if we don't give her medicine and food on a regular/same time basis she will generally either have them or an increase of them. Hang in there because I also know with the bad do come the good. Always treasure the good days!! :)

Jillian,

Lots of prays are coming your way....I know what your talking about. My daughter is having those kind of days right now...I think she's been having absence seizures, but can't say for sure and those are so hard to see..
