Can anyone help me please, i am at my wits end
My daughter was taken to hospital at 3 months of age and was diagnosed with infantile spasms at 4 months of age. She tried numerous drugs before starting vigabatrin in February 2011 and this worked straight away in controling the spasms, she is a bit delayed, she can crawl, sit unaided, pull her self up and cruise holding on to things, but not walking and not talking yet. Neurologists weaned her off vigabatrin in November 2011 and showed no signs of spasms again until this week (april 2012) she is now 18 months old. I really dont know what to do, has anybody else been in the same situation as this and what has been your outcome? My daughers situation has had a huge impact on me and ive not been coping well at all and am really looking for some light at the end of the tunnell :(
