My son is 4 - his add on med to trileptal is Keppra (liquid). He HATES it. Tastes awful, my husband tried it and said it resembled an awful shot of the worst kind of alcohol. Does anyone have the best concoction on how to mix this to hide the taste. Right now, I am using Cranberry Juice and my son still hates it. It's a battle every day.

Hello Lara, we were having problems with my daughter taking her Keppra. At first her dose was not much and she did fine but when we had to increase it several times she got where she hated to take it. We got it flavored at the pharmacy and that helped a little. It got to the point where she was gagging and then throwing up everytime. We finally taught her how to swallow a pill and have switched her to the pill form.

My Daughter takes Keppra and has no problem with the taste. We are looking forward to the pills though. Good Luck.
