I have an eight year old son who is severely brain injured and am constantly tearing my hair out trying to find suitable toys for him!! He loves all sorts of sensory things, but has no motor control to press buttons. I find that special sensory toys tend to be EXTREMELY expensive so really get a kick out of the little things - I found such a thing today in Smith's Toy store (Ireland) and on this website:
http://www.hasbro.com/shop/browse/_/N-1r...

It's a toothbrush that plays music through the bristles so that the sound is amplified in the user's head... my little boy got such a kick out of it I thought I'd share in case anyone else has the same problems as me in the toy department :)

If you see this, leave this form field blank.

There are a few other catalogs that have low vibration oral manipulatives

Try:
Abilitations
Integrations
Flaghouse

The Dollar Stores her in New Jersey have the Tunes toothbrushes that do the same thing. I have also gotten infants teethers that have vibrations - but be careful that they don't chew through.

Thanks, I'm gonna look for this. I have a really hard time having my 8 yr old brush his teeth, he has epilepsy/ADHD/DD and alot of sensory issues and never wants to brush his teeth.
