Hi I'm new on here. I have two hearing impaired children. Both have cochlear implants. My son has absence seizures also. He started having them at 31/2. He will be turning 5 soon. He's been on Zarontin it works well but he still was having seizures. So we added Keppra. That made the seizures increase. We are in the process of removing keppra and adding lamictal. He's taking 8ml of Zarontin , 1ml keppra and .5 lamical chewable morning and at night. He's still having 5 to 10 seizures a day that I see. Has anyone had luck with lamical? I worry about him being on all this meds. He's already working so hard on learning to talk. Thanks
