My 3yr old is being referred to UCSF here in CA. I talked to the doctor and he said he will likely be doing a MEG scan. I have read that it is 2 hours in lenghth, her head will be restrained and she has to lay perfectly still the whole time. Anyone have experience?

No, We just had them call and we are to just severely sleep deprive her. We are 3 hours from the test site so driving day of is out since then she would sleep on the way there. I think we will go the day before and just make a LONG and LATE day of it put her do bed as late as we can, get her up super early and hit the beautiful park by the hospital and just try to run her out. It is scheduled during normal nap time so hopefully once they get the electrodes attached she'll settle in and doze. They did say I can lay with her on the table if needed to relax her...
