Anyone already own the Emfit Movement monitor or interested in getting one for their child? It has a sensor that does under the mattress and alarms if your child has a seizure.

You can order it from www.emfit.com it is called a movement monitor, it costs $600 and is not covered by insurance. The company does offer a payment plan that is $200 down and $50 a month though.

Hi Daphne,
I actually ordered the alarm from a company in England. It was pretty expensive at the time. I think we paid $850. But that is how medical equipment goes. I will try to find the paperwork to find the exact info on it. Will get back to you.

were can you get this my husband and i have been looking for alarm for our 13 year old daughter who has epilepsy and has most of her seizures during the night and she wants to sleep in her own bed instead of with one of us

I own the Emfit Movement monitor. I found it not to be of great help to our situation as it was too sensitive and would go off inappropriately. But keep in mind that my child is autistic as well and gets in and out of bed at night a lot.
