Risperadol and Lamictal for Asperger's/behavior issues

My son has been on Risperadol for about 8 months at a low dose. Our new neuropsychologist just added Lamictal and increased his Risperadol dose a little bit. It's supposed to help with his meltdowns, sensory issues, compolusions, hyperactivity, etc. he is turning 4 in 2 weeks. Medications was our last resort and are also doing it at the same time as intensive therapy. Has any other moms out their had their child on these meds and what was your experiences? i have an adopted son who has aspergers and he has been taking risperdol for yrs it 2mg and the dr wont increase it it does have alot of side affects hunger, night sweats, bad dreams, ticks , erection ,makes u think u hear noises its really for bipolar disorder and paranoid schizophrenic also there are law suits filed against it but it is a case by case just be careful and watch him hes so young there is a lawer in texas that handles the lawsuits thomas henry
