I am looking for a support group for parents with children who have epilepsy (in NC). Any ideas?

If you see this, leave this form field blank.

Quoting Tabitha:

What area? I live in Gaston County and that is one thing that I noticed, there are no support groups in my area. I have a son who has Epilepsy and I had it as a child. I outgrew mine and am hoping that he will too. We have a family history of Epilepsy that started with my maternal Grandma (as far as we know). Since then, he is the fourth in our family to have it.

Hi Tabitha.

We actually  live in Fort Mill (Tega Cay), SC.  About 5 mins from the Charlotte, NC line.  I know there is a support group in downtown Charlotte that meets for Epilepsy.......however, I really need a support group for moms with children who have Epilepsy.  I'm going to call the Epilepsy Foundation this week just to see if they know of one.  I will pass on any info I get to you.  Atleast you and your family are familiar with this.  We have no family history of Epilepsy, so, I am trying to educate myself as well as our family members.
