My 15 year old lives in Maryland with his Aunt, Uncle, and 3 cousins.. He was supposed to be living with his Father by last January. (That is a whole other group and conversation) I live in South Carolina. I recieved a text from his Father in June stating that our son was being rushed to the hosptal on account of a violent seizure.(I have not talked to my ex-husband since). From what the Aunt has told me, my son started having seizures because of "Lack of Sleep and Stress." I raised him on my own for 12 years, and he never had a seizure... Then my son told me that the doctor put him on medication that he will have to take for the res of his like. (I have it written down, but it is in my car). The Aunt will not give me the name or number of the doctor he is seeing. I had just started a new job at the time of the seizure, so I have not been able to get to MD. He had a couple of other seizures before that, but I was unaware of those. I am going to pick my son up in Oct... My son has a history of marijuana and alchol abuse. (Which is why I sent him to MD to be with his Family that I thought would help him more). Clearly, that has not happened!

Has anyone is this group heard of such seizures?
