It's the same with my daughter...nothing's changed. I think of it like this...all drug companies HAVE TO meet required levels of medications in order to sell their product safely. Methylphenidate the "name brand" is the same as Methylphidate from the "generic" company...they even LOOK the same. I'm always looking to save money so if my insurance says it's cheaper to have this instead of brand name then I will buy it...esp when all my money is going to other more expensive parts of her treatment :) Good luck

My daughter is not on concerta but my son is and he has had no problem since the generic switch.
