My 2 1/2 year old had a UTI roughly about 3-4 weeks ago. since then she had told me on 3 occations that her pee hurt her. so i gave her a little cranberry juice because she had not flinched or anything like she did the first time today she called me to the bathroom saying she hurt again and i checked her out and noticed a bit of a smell funny thing is she just had gotten out of the bathtub. im worried about whats going on and wondered if anyone had the same thing going at one point or knows what could be causing this. i plan on going to the pediatrician asap tomorrow morning. thank you Mommies :)

I had this problem with my girls 4 and 8 years old, but at different times and it was from them out growing thier panties or jeans. I have a problem with my 8 yr old Audrey holding on to clothes that are way to tight on her. she ends up with uti and I take her to the dr. go through your daughters clothes. maybe some things are tighter than others.

we had to stop giving bubble baths with my daughter. the soap was to harsh and irritated her parts. I agree though that antibiotics can cause yeast infections I normally buy yogurt at the same time that I p/u the prescription, Cranberry juice works more as a preventative for UTI than to help get over it.

Could be a UTI or a yeast infection. Even though she was on antibiotics 3-4 weeks ago she could still get a yeast infection from the antibiotics. Just talk to her dr about it. If it is a yeast infection, vinegar baths work wonders!!!
