my daughter is almost 2 months old, and about 2 weeks after leaving the hospital i noticed that in, around her female parts theres this yellow stuff, i freaked out thought it was poop, even though their different colors.... I always try to clean it off when I change her diapers, its hard because she doesnt like it and lifts her legs, but I'm pretty sure that its uncomfortable also....

What is it??
Why does it happen??
Please explain this to me!!

It's normal and you should leave it be. If it doesn't come off with a few gentle strokes, leave it be.
It's called Vernix. I never wash my babies when they are born. Their skin will become extremely dry if you do. If it is left, the skin will absorb it, as it should naturally do, and it nourishes the skin and protects it from over-dryness.
