We just had my son's 5th birthday party. We had the party at Bouncy Place. It is a place that has several inflatable jumpy structures. The kids had a blast and we didn't have to worry about clean up.

How's the weather where you are? If we have snow we are going to do a winter wonderland theme. A snow ball fight, snow painting (use anything with color food coloring mixed with water works) warm drinks and for the cake we are doing 3 layers in differant colors, pink, purple, and blue, cut circles out of the same size and inset the diferant colors into them so each piece looks funky. Next year we are going to do a Winter Olympics, snowman building, of course the snow ball fight (we have it every year now that we live where there is snow), Snow fairys (angles) and anything else we come up with. Of course with our Winter (her name) we probably will always do something with a winter theme. If you do the zoo you do THE ARTIC and give the small beanies or plush toys of artic animals. Maybe instead of bday hats make masks of the artic animals?

Quoting Traci:

It is difficult to come up with ideas for birthday when its in the middle of winter! For my son Ramsey's 4th birthday we went to Chuck E Cheese and for his 5th birthday, Im checking into in door mini golf. Hope this helps.

Thanks Traci. I currently manage a Peter Piper Pizza so we are little pizzad out. I never thought of indoor golf....might be fun.
