Oh my, my baby girl is off to school!!!

My baby starts this yr to and i do not know who going to cry the most Cordelia , Mommy , Or Daddy
i will not know what to do Cordelia told me the other day she said mommy who will take care of u when i am in school i told her i think i can handly a few hrs with out her it would be hard but i will make my self do it

Well for me i was all alittle afraid of the "big School" but all four of my children are in daycare.. But both of my oldest gurls which are ages 5 and 3 1/2 are going even through they wont be in the same class it makes me feel a little better thats it the two of them. I just get kinda of worried cause they are both very shy and it will kill me to know that someone was being cruel to them. But i have been talking to them bout speaking up.If someone hits u tell the teacher and plz let mommy know if some is bothering u so mommy can make things better.. Thats my greatest fear. But on the other side its in my area and i know most of the parents/children.. I know our kids will be fine and growing experience for the both of us..

I remember how I felt when my baby girl started Kinder. She is starting 4th grade this year. I had all the butterflies and anxieties that I had had as a kid each time I started a new school. I had to swallow that feeling and put on a happy face for her. I want her to have good thoughts and feelings about school. Now I am about to do it again. My youngest, my baby boy starts in a week and I still have so much to do. I still have to do the whole enrollment thing too. The best thing we can do is put on a happy face and look at it as a positive experience.

The time has flown by. I know this is a part of life but I am anxious for her to go. I don't want her to be picked on,left out, any of the bad stuff that can happen in school. She is excited we went last week to enroll and this week we had our screening. She is a smart girl so I have no doubt she will do just fine. It is me I am worried about.

Omigosh, I feel exactly the same way. My daughter is the elder of my two and she's "graduating" from pre-K in the daycare she's been in since she was an infant. We are now waiting to hear back from magnet schools we enrolled her in. I'm so proud of her but have to admit I still have the feeling of wanting to protect her. So I'm full of excitement and anxiety - I think it's just where I'm supposed to be. Keep us posted on your daughter's entrance to school and I'll do the same. Have a fabulous day!

I had exactly the same reaction lol my daughter started big school jan this year nd she couldn't w8 everyday she is as xcited as the 1st she loves it but still MY BABY!!!!! stop growin!!!! lol

Oh my! I'm excited! I hope he has a great time and learns even more. That's how I'm feeling about the whole thing. ^^ He can't wait either!

When I saw myself as a mom while still a teen, I always saw myself as the mom of teenagers, so I suppose this will all hit me when he finally goes off to college. :-\

My little girl is off to school this year too!! I thought I was all ready to have no kids at home (as my son is already in school). With only a week to go until she starts I am starting to feel a bit sad.....she can't wait to go which is a good thing I suppose....I am sure I will get over it!!

My son is in Pre K this and loves it. He is my middle. My oldest is in Kindergarten. I believe that it will hit me the hardest when my youngest goes off to school. I am trying to look at as life it stages. It is fun watching all that they can do. Just enjoy each day. Tomorrow will bring it own surprises.
