How do you discipline your child with special needs?

I believe that strict discipline is a good idea for every child, but don't take it to far.
i take things away do time out, and i do spank (cause my little prince no better).
but now it's getting to the point my baby is starting to sneak and do bad things any ideas.

how old is your baby? the type of discipline depends on 1 age 2 what can you take away from them 3 how can you modify what has helped in past
