I have made myself familiar with PKU (Bailey is a mild case, a HyperPHE) And her doctors are wonderful at sharing info, but I was just wondering if any other mom's have older children with PKU and could share more "hands on" info or advice. Thanks!

im a 30 yr old mother of three but im the one with pku . all my children were born healthy and none have pku like I do. I have the pku 3 I think its called as Im on a diet and have strict eating habits . if u want to chat let me know or add me to your face book . stacey veach

Hyperphe is a more mild form of PKU sometimes the kids are put on diet and sometimes not ... depends on the individual and their numbers. Welcome! I have an 11 month old son with classical pku.

yes i have a son that is 3 years old with pku lol i would say watch them like a hawk i had my son when i was only 18 and it made me grow up faster then anyone i know. i know more then most normal docters know about this condition any questions feel free to ask its so nice to see other moms with the same issues. xoxo heather
