Hi I'm Kim, and my daughter Alyssa is 3 1/2 born w/ spina bifida. She has a VP shunt and has had 1 revision and brand new one put in once. Along with that, she has epilepsy, sleep apnea, kyphosis, scoliosis, and had saggital craniosynostosis. Boy.... what a mouth full.



She is a very energetic and lively child regardless of everything that she endures. Which is alot and very frequent. We spend alot of time in the hospital and it's quite frequent.



I would love to get to know other mothers who live with the same challenges as we do. BTW...we live in Denver, Colorado, USA.
