My son is about one month ahead of his adjusted age right now. He is 7 months old, 4 months corrected. I believe he can think like a 5 month old, but he can only "do" what a 4 month old can do physically. He's not sitting up unassisted yet and just started rolling over. The only thing he is doing that other 7 months old do is eat. He loves to eat! He's eating 9oz bottles and rice cereal with some peas or carrots (stage 1) mixed in. He's still on the small side, wearing 0-3 mos & 3 mos clothes...

My daughter just turned 10months (7 months corrected). She is still only eating 4 1/2oz every 4 hours, about 1/2 of a stage 2 baby food, no teeth, sits alone, rolls all over, does not crawl, babbles, but does not use ma, ba, da, yet. She is still in 3-6mo clothing, weighing in at about 15lbs. Our pediatrician and NICU follow-up specialists, say shes doing great and she should catch up by 2yrs old or so.

My guy was behind even for his adjusted age until he was 12 months adjusted and then he just took off. Now at 2.5 years he's right on par for his age, you'd never know he'd had such a rough start in life.
