I had my first son at 5 weeks early well my second was my daughter and she was 2 months premature and only weighed 3lbs 8 oz i didnt really know what to expect they whisked me into surgery so fast to get her out as she was breach and then they said to me an hour later that i could see her soon but to expect thats she was intubated on and at first it didnt sound so bad then i saw her and it was so sad watching her with tubes coming out of her breathing for her when they were like 5 times the size of her then she got flown away from me 2 hours from where i was she stayed in hospital for 3 weeks thankfully not as long as expected but still long enough away from me and thank fully now she is a healthy little girl strong big and beautiful and i know that they are hard when it happens like that but i made it through it with a 9 month old on my hip so i know if i can do it you can to and its ok i also now have another child who was 5 weeks premature as well so i know what its like to have premature babies as mine are all preemie but it was my daughter that hit the hardest. ill try to post pics later
