Anyone elses 24 week old preemies still having some issues? How old are they, are they older and still have issues? My boys are 16 months and my one is still having problems. I know thats to be expected but when does it stop? I just feel so bad for them everytime we get discharged from a specific doctor not too long later we end up back there.

My daughter was 24 weeks when she was born...and we have had over 30 hospital addmissions...she is 2years old now and we don't really go into hospital as much but we are going into our family doctors about 2 every week....its getting better...she has asthma, and this thing of scaring in her lungs but really things get better as they get older it may not seem like it now but it does!!! Premmies are lil fighters!!!!

My son was born at 24 weeks, he is now 13 years old. I still have problems with him from time to time, but it will get easier, you have to remember that they weren't really ready to come out into the world at that time and it will take time for things to come together. I had a long list of doctors for my son and eventually you will get to knock one of the list for good and it will decline in time. Hang in there.
