collic powder,a teaspoon of brown sugar & water,it wont harm bubs,it helps get the bowls moving,as not to young to start on marshed up fruit, get a mesh dummy look a like, but this one u can put fruit into it,and chill it,and watch him love it.farax he start to enjoy in the morning, that way you are teaching him to get use to food.boiled water,n that way you are saving their teeth, but getting water into him.if he hasnt taken 1 nw,then u need to see a doctor.k.

I did Gerber pear juice (which was recommended by my ped). I had never heard of this before. I assumed prune juice. But I tried the pear juice, and when I tell you, it was within an hour she had an explosion, I mean it. I gave her an ounce of pear juice every other day and that helped! The ped said tha the Neosure is some serious stuff when it comes to pooping. Anyways, I arely every give it to her now, as she is jusst fine. She is 6 1/2 months now., But i swear by the pear juice.

The same thing happened to my girl as well. It was soo bad that I had eventually had to take her to the doctor's and they ended up giving her an enema for infant's. I felt horrible for her but in the end she felt much better. She still has bowel problems at 3yrs of age. I give a powder stool softener in her drink that she can't taste occ. when she needs it. I would suggest go to doctors since she is soo young.

We had the same problem and at 10 months my little one still gets constipated unless she has prune juice daily. Our pediatrician said baby juice wasn't necessary - to give her straight prune juice, but only 1 oz daily. Secondly, if baby is on formula, you may want to think about changing. We went through 5 formulas before we found the one my daughter's tummy could best digest and landed on Similac Advance.

First have you been to the doctor? This is a very serious problem as it can make babies very sick! Is it hot were you are? Maybe bub is a bit dehydrated so try giving boiled water in small amounts often. I tried stuff called Rughar which is a natural rubarb mix and that worked well for me. You really do need to go to the doctor and get bub checked out just in case!!!!! Good luck
