Age that your preemie started getting teeth?

My b/g twins started teething at three months old ( 1 and a half months adjusted) my daughter didn't get her first tooth until ten months ( 8 and a half months corrected) and my son didn't get his first tooth until 11 months ( 9 and a half months corrected). they are two and a half now.
My youngest was a full termer ( will be six months on Jan 12th.) He started teething at four months still hasn't broken anything yet.

My first daughter was a 35 week baby and she got her first tooth at 6 1/2 months and got a tooth every month until she got them all. My youngest daughter was a 33 week preemie and she got her first two teeth on the same day at a little over 7 months old. Now a month later she has a total of 4 teeth and 2 more on the way!

I asked the Dentist about teeth and Premie's when I was at an appt with my full term 3 year old. He said that being a premie does not effect when a babies teeth come in. Some babies are born with teeth and other don't get until 18 months. He did say if my daughter didn't have any teeth by 18 month he might want to take a X-ray to see what was going on. My premie was well past her 12 month Bday when she got her first tooth. She is 25 months old and still only has 6 teeth on top and 4 on the bottom. The two front on the bottom and molars, it looks silly. But tonight I notice the teeth surrounding the bottom middle coming thru. Good Luck. They say the longer the wait, the better for the teeth.

So relieved to hear this as my 10 month old still hasn't got any teeth & I was begining to get worried & they are definitely not coming out soon either.
I heard from a dentist (or I was dreaming) that the longer the teeth take to come out the stronger they are.
