If you are bottle-feeding try the playtex vent aire advanced bottle. (It lets air out of the bottle during feedings.) Another idea is to ask your baby's pediatrician for "gas drops" for your baby. good luck

If the gas is also resulting in an upset stomach, switch the formula. Not sure what you are using now, but both mine ended up on Enfamil Gentlease. Since my premie was on the enfcare (22 cal per oz) formula and need the extra cals my dr had me mix with a ration of 3 scoops to 5 oz of water. Some Dr will tell you it will go away with time, but if I eat something and it makes me sick, I don't keep eating it! Good Luck! Depending how often you would need to use the Mylicn drops, they can be very expensive. Switching formula did the best for me!

We went through a lot of mylicon and Colic Calm before we were told our on has reflux. We ended up using the Soy Similac formula and he was on Zantac. It helped the gas issues as well as the stomach issues.

What works for my toddler is this baby gas reliever called kolik. You can find it in the baby section of stores.

mylicon works - infant gas drops generic or pharmacy brand are exactly the same thing. my preemie was a 28 weeker and still has bad gas - but the gas drops do help, and pretty immediately. if you believe in herbal remedies gripe water works as well - there were some days he would get a dose of Colic Calm (just a brand of gripe water, works wonders for everything from colic, gas, teething, hiccups...) AND mylicon, especially before bed. also as one of the previous posters mentioned if the gas is really bad it could be an intolerance to the formula or something in the breastmilk as well. it's honestly hard to know for certain. my son is on alimentum hypoallergenic formula because of lactose intolerance and i just make it 22 cal for him. hope one of these remedies helps!

i used to use the drops for my preemie think it stems from their systems being immature.
