My son was born at 27 weeks and is currently three months. He is on Similac Sensitive. Wayyyy better than Enfamil for preemies. It is milk based though, I don't like the soy based formulas.

My son was primairly breast fed. But in the NICU they supplemented him with Similac NeoSure, however when he came home we just used regular similac.

Quoting Sherri:

my son is on enfamil nutramigen lipil and it does not seem to be working he is still throwing it up all the time and has not had a normal poop since he has been on it

Is he constipated all the time? My son was constipated all the time and was on the simila version of nutramigen (alimentum) and he still threw up and had bloody stools and he seemed to do a little better when he was put on soy milk at 12 months but recently our doctor switched us to Neocate Jr. But they have Neocate Infant and we should have been on this when he was prolly about 7 months old. You should ask your doctor about switching. Or Elecare too. We just started my son on Neocate so I dunno how it is going really yet. GL!

My DD is on Similac NeoSure. She'll be on it at least until she's 9 months old.
