Does anyone else's baby groan in their sleep?

My baby girl groans in her sleep off and on ALL night long. She just started doing this a few days ago. Previous she slept through the night quietly. She keeps her twin brother up at night with the groaning (and us, of course).

She is now 5 months old, 3 adjusted (she was born 2 months early).

Has anyone else had this problem?

Mine would grunt also, but since we switched his milk it is so much better. We went from neosure to gentlease.

I think it's pretty common in preemie's, my 30wk girl grunt and groaned all night and during the day until she was about 4 months and then it just stopped. The doctor said some babies just to that, it wasn't anything to be concerned about. It used to drive me nuts at night but now I miss it alittle, it was cute. She now 10 months.

yes! mine did for the 1st 2 months until i started swaddling him in a miracle blanket..

your daughter is not too old to swaddle. i swaddled my son until he was 11 months (either in a miracle blanket or a woombie.).

He's 14 months now and he sleeps in a sleep sack called a peke moe.

My daughter used ot make sounds in her sleep...now at 18 months, she nods her head and says, "Uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh." in her sleep. It's cute ♥

My baby boy is 2 months/2 days old (corrected 1 week/6 days old) and he grunts and makes all sorts of noises in his sleep as well. The doctor said those noises will eventually go away and not to worry.

My son is known in the NICU for it. hahah. He is always grunting and groaning, awake and asleep. That's just who he is. I think it means that he'll be a talker when he's older. :P

my dd has always done that to some degree when she sleeps. My doctor said she's just more vocal than other babies may be. Nothing really wrong with it. They key is to remember if she was really upset or uncomfortable she would cry. She sleeps in a bassinet next to our bed.. eventually you get used to it and tune it out.

Coincidentally, my daughter was also 2 months early but she's only 3 months, 1month adjusted now.
