does anyone know if Mylicon helps?

mylacon is the best gas relief for infants and just a small word of advice the generic stuff is ok but the name brand is the best even though it is a bit more expensive than the other stuff

it didnt work for my son, who has acid reflux. he had to be put on meds for it. but alot of people have said it does work for slight cases. but my doctor didn't recommend it. it does however help out alot with killing the bubbles in the bottle and makes smoother feedings

Mylicon helped. But not enough. I did find a belt like pouch, you heat it in the microwave. Then wrap it around babies tummy it is soft and velcros on securely. It helped immensly. My girls were preemies and on so many medicines for thier stomachs. They still spit up constantly and gas. I think it cost me like 12 dollars we could not have lived without it. I was trying anything. Tummy is in the name of it I dont remember exactly what its called sorry maybe Soothing Tummy? I got it online at CVS. We went thru the different milks, medicines ect...

yes this was great when my daughter was curlicue and had gas from my breast milk until i switched to lactose free milk

It never helped my 25 weeker. She ended up on reflux meds and is doing great now. I also had a 32 weeker and it didn't help him either. Some people swear by it. I know they do make certain formulas for babies w/ gas.

My daughter was suffering from bad gas when we brought her home from the hospital. I spoke with her doc and they sd to try the Mylicon and she has been fine ever since. We give it to her every other feeding now and she is doing great. It works very quickly and helps!!

MY SON had terrible tummy problems . a gripe water is the best . it is a bit expensive but well worth the money,

Yes, Mylicon works great! We actually give it to our 16 week old preemie twice a day, since he has gas pains as well. We give him .3mL twice a day in his milk and it has helped a lot!

It helped with Trenton. I'd give it to him before each bottle, and he was fine.

You can also try gripe water if the mylecon doesn't help. Our little guy had reflux and colic, so we've tried just about everything!

Mylicon has not worked for my kids (Samantha 3 and JC 1). Instead I had to use special formula (Samantha was on Alimentum and JC on Gentlelease) and use gripe water.

thank you all for your comments, ive started to try it, hes only had it 3 times in 2 days but still no sign of improvement, driving us mad, it might be a food allergy just dont know oh they joys of children lol x

love the stuff!!!!! the best thing about it is i see a specialist cause of four premies and she told me you can;t give them too muc. it will only work to a certain point

Mylicon was a life saver with our daughter when she swiched to formula! It was an almost instant fix (within a few minutes).
