In the last week or so, CJ has decided he likes to snack at his feedings. He'll eat a couple ounces, and either sleep or stay awake and an hour or 2 later want the rest of his bottle. he was eating 4-5 ounces all together until just recently. Has anyone else experienced this and do you have any advice about it?

My daughter was 3 1/2 weeks early. She was 5 lbs 13 oz when she was born. She is now almost 1 and is 24 lbs. She is a pig. She will eat anything you give her even if she just had a meal. She loves all foods we have given her except for ham. This is totally different from my almost 3 year old who was born on his due date. He is extremely picky and won't eat most of the stuff the rest of the family will eat.

Sounds normal...He may be having a growth spurt which is a good thing. My son would do that as well and usually it was because of a growth spurt

Kimmie was doing this and sometimes still do. She would drink her normal feeding and maybe an our or so later she would want a snack. I ask my Infant/Toddler specialist about this and she said that babies do get thirsty and want a drink. I never thought of that... :)

Or if they eat every hour to 2 hours, they may be in a growth spurt.
