Hi Girls sorry i'm new to this
Where off to our prem clinic today ,
My baby girl Ashley was 10 weeks early so we go to the clinic to see how she is doing they make sure she is doing all the right things for her corrected age and keep an eye on them?
So do they have any after care/clinics where you live? how's bub's going?

I can't wait hope there happy with her, she is up on her hands and knees almost crawling still not sitting yet tho? loving solids, We are lucky it's in the same hospital she was born, it's great to say hello to the nurse's that looked after her in neonatal while where there they like to see how there baby's are growing too..

love to hear from you

My daugther went every 3 months until she was 2 yrs old. And between them, myself and doctors we detected her CP early. We go back and visit them often.

My little girl went twice. At 4 months after discharge and then again at 8 months. She did great and they are very helpful if you have any questions for them. I never minded. They let me know that she was doing well.

My daughter will be 2 next week and we just went for her yearly follow-up appt. She will continue to go once a year (possibly until she is 7, due to neurological issues)). It was at her first follow-up at 6 mos (3 adj) that they noticed motor delays and she was able to get occupational therapy. I was so glad we have the option of seeing these specialists. I love her ped, but am so happy when she can be seen by the people who specialize in preemies!

My girl goes to a Neonatal follow up program about every 6 months, other children are seen more often if their needs are bigger. They check her hearing, eyesight, motorskills and she see's nutrionist. We were blessed that she wasn't born with many challenges, other than being on the small side. The program is great though and I do feel better that she is seen. This program is totally free as well. Maybe check with your hospital to see if they offer the program, this is how we found out about it.
