My milk supply suddenly decreased do to taking the pill. I was wondering if anyone has tried Domperidone also known as Motilium? Did it help to increase milk supply and if it did how long did it take? How many tablets should I purchase?

I took it and it worked really quickly, only it ended up giving me an irregular heartbeat so I had to stop. I was taking 2 capsules 4x a day.

Yes, I took it and it did start working within a week or so. I don't remember what strength they were (had to have them compounded in NY state), but I took a lot of them. Maybe 3-4 capsules 3-4 times a day. I think I picked up 400 or so when I got my script. You shouldn't stop taking it suddenly, you should wean off it. I wish I could remember my dose for you, but a lactation expert should be able to help you out there. Good luck!

Healthy nursing tea was very helpful to increase my low milk supply. Except this tea nothing worked for me.

Well when I was taking the Reglan, I started having horrible migrains that lasted for days.  I have a history of severe migrains but they were under control prior to me taking the reglan.  Every case is different though. My sister had taken the reglan and had no complications. Everyone is different so just be aware and do your homework before you take it.

Reglan just got a "black box warning" from the FDA, I'd be hesitant to use it! It can cause Reglan tardive dyskinesia, many times irreversibly. As with all medication usage, you must be very careful.
