my son was born 6 weeks premature...he weighed 3 lbs 10 oz and was 16.5 inches long...he is now almost 5 months and is weighing 13lbs 4 oz and is 24.5 inches long...i was just wondering what your preemies are weighing months after they were born

My daughter was born at 25 weeks. She weighed 1 pound and 1/2 oz. 10 and 1/2 inches long... She is now 7 years old and still is very small for her age.(37 lbs) She didn't weigh but 10 pounds on her 1st birthday.

My son was 6 wks premature also. He weighed 8lbs 8 oz & was 19 1/2 in long. He is now 19yrs. old & stands 6'1. He is very smart.
I have Diabetes, that's why he weighed so much.

mine was born at 32 weeks, was 3 lbs and 6 oz....now at 10 months old - only 11 lbs & 7 oz....he grows slowly but doctor said he's healthy and is just doing fine...he's still small but very energetic/active...trying to stand...crawls very fast...he's my pride & joy....

my daughter was born 12 weeks early 3 lbs 1 oz, she just turned 8 and is the biggest girl in her class and only behind 2 boys in height. I'm 5 " and she's already at my shoulders, you never know the tough start she had. :)

Well, it's been awhile for me. My second daughter was born 3 months early. She was 2 lbs. 4 oz. She is now 3 1/2 and weighs 34 lbs, as tall or taller then most in her preschool class. She is doing great and you would never know she was born so early : )

Alex was born 6 weeks early as well! He was 3lbs 12oz and 16 in. He was 17 lbs at 9 months and is now almost 20lbs at 11 months!

now she is 21 months old.... walking and talking....:) talking not much... but couple words.....
i dont even believe.. how hard the time was.... but now..... its a miracle... i cant even say that she was that small :)

Hey Kristina my son was 2 lbs 5 oz and he's now 5 going on 6. I don't remember what he weighed around 5 mo but each doctor visit he gained weight. They actually eat a lot from my experience and grow well. You all will be fine.

My first child (a boy) was born 2 months early and weighed 2lbs 13oz. He stayed in the hospital for 4 months. He is 5 yrs old now and weighs well over 60lbs. My second child (another boy) was 4 months early and weighed 1lb 7oz. He also stayed in the hospital for 4 months. He turned 5 at the end of Feb. and is close to 70lbs. My third (and last) child (a girl) was born on time and weihged 5 lbs 5 oz. She is a year old now and small for her age.

my son was 15 weeks premature, and weighed 2 pounds even. at 4 months when he came home from the hospital he was 6 pounds 2 ounces. at a year he weighed 11 pounds. today is his 12th birthday and he is totally on track for height and weight of a 12 year old boy

My son was 15 weeks premature. He weighed 2lbs and was 12 inches long. He is now 2years old and weighs 32lbs and is 33inches tall. He struggled with weight for the first year, only getting up to 18lbs at his birthday, but he is doing very well now and is in the normal ranges for his age!

My daughter was born at 23.2 weeks gestation. Weighed 580 grams (1lb 4.5oz) and measured 30.9cms. She's now nearly 15 months old, (11 months corrected) and weighs over 9kgs (20lb+) and measures 78cms.

My 32 weeker was 3 lbs 15 oz and 16 inches long at birth and now she is almost 5 years old and weighs roughly 45 lbs! My 30 weeker weighed 3 lbs 2 oz and 17 inches long and she is 7 mos old now and weighs a little over 15 lbs and is 26 inches long!!

LOL My son weighed in at 2lbs 15ozs and was 15 1/4 inches long. He was 31.4 weeks, so almost 2 months early. Of course now that is 6 and 1/2 years ago. He is now 51" and a solid (not fat) 78lbs!!! When he was one he was average in a 12 month outfit as we as when he was 2 he was in 2t's. Same as 3 years old he was in 3t-4t's. It wasnt until he hit 4 that all the sudden he stretched out and up (he was always petite and then BOOM!). Preemies are remarkable. Mama's enjoy every ounce of them, it goes by so quickly! ♥ ( Also You can see him in my avatar picture!)

my son was born @ 29 weeks, he was 3.6lbs & 16in. By 6 months he was over the 100th % for weight, he's 2 1/2 now & weighs 39lbs & is 38in.
My third son was barely preemie (36weeks to the day) he was 8.8lbs at birth & now at 11 months is 30lbs.

my lil man was born 7 weeks early he waighed in at 4lbs 5 oz hes now 7 months i had him waighed at the end of feb and he was 16lbs 10 oz so i can only imagine hes bigger now he must b doing good they dnt want 2 c him 4 2 months now and he loves his solids and just as big as the ova babbies his age now and doing the same as them xxx

My son was born 8 weeks premature and weighed 5lbs. 1oz. when he was born (he would have been HUGE full term!) He is now 91/2 years old and he is 5ft. tall weighing in at 90lbs! It seems like just yesterday he was a little bitty guy! They grow soooo fast!

My son was born at 32 weeks exactly. He was 3 lbs, 0.5 oz and 15 inches long. When we took him home at four weeks he weighed 4 lbs 6 oz and by 6 weeks weighed 5 lbs 8 oz. He is now six and a half years old, weighs approximately 46 lbs and is about 47 inches tall :)

my son was born at 29wks. He was 3lbs 9oz and 15 3/4 inches long. He will be two in july and he is now 27lbs and 33 inches and he is running all the time. Its hard to believe that he was my tiny little peanut
