Hey there everyone... I was just interested to hear how your babies were born. Both of mine we're sections and my 3rd will be too. Also wondered how your labour started or whether you were induced for some reason... my waters break and I get contractions but I strangely don't dialate at all, anyone else experienced the same?

My first child went into fullblown labor and the baby ended up being stillborn. they could not explain what went wrong . I waited quite a long time before trying to have children again . well I got pregnant and ended up in the hospital at 25 weeks sent for a US and the Dr's telling me they were going to induce me because my body was not being a very good incubator for my daughter they sent me back to my room and said they were going to give me a med that would take a couple of days to start my contractions . I was in fullblown labor within 20 mins of the meds and the Drs and nurses running around like little chickens with their heads cut off lol. I was going to have to have a Emergency C-section . My Daughter was born at 25 weeks weighing 11 ounces and 10 inches long with a 5% chance of survivng at all . she developed alot of complications , but I am happy to say she is 4 yrs old she still has alot of medical issues and she is still very tiny for her age she is only 26.8 pounds she will likely always be tiny and petite. I was not planning on having another Child but God had other plans for me ... The drs were watching me closely this time and things still went wrong they think it is something genetic with my body the babys get to a certain stage and my body just quits feeding them so I ended up in the hospital at 24 weeks with them telling me I was not going home till the baby came and that they were going to try and keep the baby in me till I was atleast 30 weeks along . Our lives got turned upside down I am telling you . well at 28 weeks I was headed again for another emergency c-section and My second Daughter was here weighing in at 1 pound 3 ounces and 11 inches long she is now 10 months old by birth and 7 months adjusted age she is growing like a weed and has no medical issues . Thank the Lord . I will not be having anymore children for it would mean another early child and more time in the NICU and just not worth risking it . I have had my tubes tied and infact had to fight the ethics board to have it done . but wasn't to bad with my medical history of having early babies they agreed to the tubaligation as long as I had a C-section well since I knew and they did not that I could only have a C-section because of the way they had to cut me open to get my first daughter out I knew I was getting my tubaligation ... we did two episodes of the Nicu with my first she was in there from jan 11/05 till may 27/05 and my second was in from oct 19/08 till feb 17/09 was more stressing the first time but hard the second time around because I did have another child at home and she needed her mommy too..

My daughter was born Natural. I had a tear high up on my wall and it was leaking. I was in the hospital in bed rest for 2 days before I had her. The doctors were trying to stop me from going into labor. After my water broke she didn't come for almost 12 hours

Well I found out my son had gastroschsis when I was about 20 weeks pregnant. I had a ruptured membrane ( My waterbroke ) Just a little bit at 28 weeks which landed me at yale hospital for about 6 weeks and then they finally induced me on 12/21/09.. Nothing worked to make me dialate.. Until I got the stuff In the IV.. Then It happened soo fast and I went home the next day.. My little man had to stay in the Nicu for about a month though because of his birth issue.

I delivered my little boy who is now 3 at 29 weeks i went into labour was conracting for 3 days and they thought they could hold him off, i had steroids etc. But he came anyway and they couldnt see any reason why? Other than stress as i had alot going on at home. When i was pregnant with my daughter i was contracting on and off from 16 weeks and had to have MORE drugs to try and stop it. I had internal scans every 2 weeks and when i was 18 weeks they discovered that i dialate from the inside out from early on in pregnancy and so i had to have special pessaries to try and stop that. At 27 weeks they stopped working so i had to have MORE drugs and total bed rest but with a baby bearly over 1 years old and only having my husband to help it was near impossible. They couldnt hold it off any longer and i delivered at nearlly 33 weeks. Both my children are healthy and happy but i know how lucky i am to have them here safe as not everyone i met in hospital (as i was ther ALOT!) were as lucky :(

Braiden was born at 27 weeks by emergency c section because he was breach. He weighed 2 lbs and 4 oz and had to be flown two hours away and I of course couldnt go with him because of my surgery. I saw him for a short minute hours after birth and didnt see him again until I left the hospital AMA and drove two hours to his hospital the next night. He stayed in the nicu for maybe only a week I believe with the exception I think I member they may have had to bring him back shortly once...but he was born on november 30 2004 and came home january 16 2005. It sounds like a lOOOOng time but its more than a month shorter than the expected time of the nursing staff had told us. I strongly encourage kangaroo care and breastfeeding is an absolute must...also alot of hospitals dont well prepare you for the after home non medical care example developmental etc..its probably a good idea to call local places maybe find an early childood intervention they helped wonders. If I had to do it all over again I would have prepared our family for the non medical non immediate experiences as well as the at home health care. All moms of preemies become half mom half nurse :) in a strange way tho we feel blessed by the experience. We shared the experience of TEACHING our son to eat off a bottle I kept a journal of each day how much he drank its silly but helps me appreciate small things..I was so excited when he hit like "..17ccs..." or moved to a fast flow nipple lol it will definately be some good talks when hes old enough to understand just what amazing things he accomplished and survived. Every mom of course feels there kids are headed to big places but I think we can all agree WE KNOW lol

I was induced at 35 weeks because I developed severe pre-eclampsia and HELLP syndrome, she was delivered naturally. My little girl was 5'11 and 19 long. I will be induced again this time, in about 5 weeks as I am diabetic but I may be advised to have a c-section.

My 1st son was born 8 weeks early due to PIH. He was 4lbs 1oz and did really well, only staying in the nicu for 2 weeks. Then our 4th child was a rough pregnancy. I had been seeing a MFM dr weekly. I went into one of my appts at 28 weeks and had my weekly ultrasound and they said that she wasn't growing. They then did a NST and found that she wasn't moving much and also wasn't having enough variablity in her heart rate. They gave me my 1st steriod shot ASAP and told me to head to Labor and Delivery and that I'd be staying til I delivered. They continued monitoring her and I was also starting to develop PIH again. Well after 2 weeks in Labor and Delivery one evening her heart rate dropped down to 60 and wasn't recovering so they took me in an emergency c-section. When she was born she was 1350g she was really small for a 31 weeker. They said that she had severe IUGR. She spent 33 days in the NICU and had to go back about 3 weeks later for a blood transfusion. She is doing well today. She's almost 7 mo old and weighs 12 lbs.

I went into labour, waters didn't break, but was 5cm dilated. As both twins were breech, I had an emergency c-section at 25 weeks.

My preemie was my fifth child. I never looked as pregnant as I had with my other children. It turned out early birth was a good thing for my little boy, though, because there was retarded growth of the placenta and he wouldn't have gotten the nutrients he needed much longer. He's a happy healthy four year old now. He was born normally, and very quickly. The doctor barely got there in time. My second child was C-section because she just plain got stuck.

I went to the hospital after 2 hours of contractions, which i thought was just me being dehydrated. I was already 9cm dialated and my water broke right when I got there. I was 35 weeks exactly. My son was born soon after. My son and I were in perfect health at all my doctor visits, but we discovered I had him early due to a blood clot in the placenta. He was born very healthy and was able to stay in my room at the hospital. He then stayed in the NICU for 2 days with a feeding tube(just as a precaution so he can gain weight). He is now meeting ALL his benchmarks even though he was early. He is right on track and that is not including his adjusted age. He's a real blessing:)

well i have three girls and a boy, all of whom were early. my oldest i had preeclampsia and didnt know it. luckily i went into labor, they induced me at the hospital to hurry the process cause of the danger to my daughter. my second they stopped my labor three times by 35 weeks, then my placenta ripped away partially, i was bleeding horribly. wemt to the hospital and was 10 and she was crowning,... (it was only ten minutes away) cord around her neck twice, but perfectly healthy. my third was a little harder, my water broke at thirty weeks, they kept me pregnant till i was 34 and 2, then i had to be induced since my uterus was starting to get an infection from the water sack being broken so long. was in the hospital for 13 days, but that was only from jaundice, other than that she was good. my son was ornry too. he broke his water sack at 34 weeks. got to the hospital and was going to wait. his heart rate was ddropping so severly with the contactions that i had to deliver. scary one cause he was not breathing when he was born. he did great though!!!! right now he is almost seven months and 22 pounds!!!!

my waters broke at 30 weeks, by the time i got to hospital i was 6cm but feeling very little pain. I was put onto a drip to stop labour so they could give me the wee steroid injections. I was transfered through 4 hospitals in 6 days because neonatal cots were in demand at the time. WHen i eventually went back into labour (6 days later) i was put on a drip to speed things up but because my son was in a strange position nothing seemed to happen. On examination they found my sons feet were already out of my cervix and he was coming feet then shoulder. His heart rate dropped and i was taken for an emergency section. He was 3lb 3oz at bith and he's gonna be 1 on tuesday :-)

I've had 4 C-sections, never broke my water, minimal dilation and minimal labor pains. My oldest girl was born at 28 wks, next was born at 37 weeks, but wanted to enter the world a few weeks earlier (dr.s stopped contractions), my next was born at 38 1/2 weeks and my last made it to 38 1/2 weeks also.

I went into the hospital on a Friday to be monitored because I developed preeclampsia. I had blood drawn to check my levels and was put on a fetal monitor to check the baby's movement. After being monitored for about 2 hours the test results came back showing my levels had increased so the admitted me to induce labor. Once I started having contractions Elizabeth's heartbeat would decrease with every contractions. My blood pressure was also extemely high. After several hours of trying to stablized both me and the baby I was taken in for an emergency c-section. At 1:54am my baby girl was born at 3lbs 12 ounces. She was put on oxygen for 3hours and was monitored for half a day. 2 days later like most prem babies she developed jaundice. The next day her levels dropped and we were able to bring her home. Now at 6 weeks she is 5lbs 15ounces and is doing great!

my uterus burst and for 3 hrs i sat in a constant contraction because they didn't know why i was bleeding, when shift changed a new dr came in she looked at me and knew exactly what was wrong. she explained to me that the hospital could not care for my baby due to the size and that i was 10wks early so she called a near by hospital (1hr away) they drove up and she had me ready in sugery before they got there, they had blood on hand because i was bleeding to death and the baby wasn't getting anything from me, I saw Nevaeh (who was born on easter of this year that is why her name is heaven backwards) for 2 min before they rushed her to Childrens Mercy Hospital. The Ronald Mcdonald house put us up the whole time she was in the hospital because i didn't leave. I didn't want her to be alone, needless to say she is 8 months old and doing great she weighs 16lbs. good luck 2 u

i was in my 6th month, the very end, when early contractions hit, put in hospital for 12 days, sent home under conditions i had to wear a device that tracked my contractions while all the while the machine pumped meds through a needle into my leg to stop contractions-didnt work two days later my water broke while standing in kitchen, had emergency c-section but the only good part was that with my meds didnt feel the contractions at all. my son was a foot long breech and we knew that before any of this and i was going to have a c-secion anyway.

Cassana,

Mine all started the same as you, water breaks & then sections..I never dialate, so after my first birth, all of my sections were scedualed. With my preemie, he was an Emergency C-section / scary, he was also a footling baby. He was born at 33 weeks, but he was also born w/ a broken nose! He was in NICU for 8 weeks. Good luck w/ your third, sounds like everything will be fine.

I had my second a girl at 35 weeks she also came on her own...also tried to come at 33 weeks they again were able to stop the labor she was also born healthy and is colic now but otherwise doing great she is 5 months old now and is in the 50% of weight and height. I start to dialate around 30 weeks for some reason with my second in the first 19 weeks I saw a specialist which said my chances of having her early were only 8% boy were they wrong!

I just had my first baby, in November. I wasn't due until Jan 25th though. I got the disease preeclampsia, pregancy induced hypertension. I was in the hospital for 1 week, then transferred to another hospital, an emergency c-section was done. My little Zoey was born at 28 weeks and 6 days, weighing 2lbs and 4oz. She was in the NICU from Nov 8th to Dec 25th. She is now at home and has more than doubled her birth weight. Best of luck on the duration of your pregnancy and I hope your labor goes well! :)

[deleted account]

With my first preemie the cause of my preterm labor was undertermined. By the time it was stopped I had dialated to 5 1/2 so he had to be delivered. He was breach so he was delivered by c-section (not emergency) at 29 weeks. With my second preemie I had a complete previa. I started bleeding at 13 weeks and was on bedrest until she was born by emergency c-section at 25 weeks. I was in the hospital and had started bleeding profusely. They had to deliver her so they could try to keep me from bleeding to death.

Thats where ur body just rejects the baby, ur liver and kidneys, start shutting down. and u and baby both have a good chance of not making it, intill they deliever the baby. i had a eme. c-sec., it was the most awful pain i have ever been in, in my life. i thought i was really dieing. my blood presure was up in like the 200s and my chest was killin me. and i mean killin me. but they delivered her, and now she doing good.. she just like a regular new born, not a preemie anymore.

My son was born at 34wks because i spring cleaned my house the day he was born! Started feeling small pains 8pm, still managed to fall asleep, woke up at 11pm because i had a show, rang the midwife, went to hospital, got pulled over for speeding, waters broke when the officer asked "is there a reason you're speeding sir" lol, got to the hospital, was pushing for 10mins, my son was in my arms at 11.50pm, for about 30 secs. He had breathing problems, so we stayed in hospital for a week, now 6mths, hes learning to crawl and looks like hes 8mnths.

My son was born natural and we thought it was Brackson Hicks under my stomache and it was labor pains. It started at 9 P.M. on a Wednesday night. N I had him on Thursday morning at 5:13 a.m.

[deleted account]

My daughter had developed a bad UTI and was on antibiotics, she went into preterm labor at 25wks, the docs got it stopped with Magnesium Sulfate and gave her Betamethasone shots to mature the granddaughters lungs. She was placed on bed rest and procardia because she had already dialated to 3 cm at 25wks. She was only able to keep her in for about 3 more weeks and she went into labor around 11 that morning and we had to rush her to the hospital via ambulance, she arrived there at 1:30 p.m and her baby was born just 7 mins later, Natural Birth without any pain meds. Her second child was a Full Term baby but she went into preterm labor with her at 34wks and was dialated to 5 cm by 36wks gestation, the baby was born after a 45 min labor at 37wks 5 days, again a natural delivery with no Pain meds nor any Epidurals. She delivers fast, but always seems to dialate before hand. I had the opposite, I was always induced and it was hours before my babies were born.

I had some bleeding from 7 1/2 weeks until about 18 weeks. I had mutliple ultrasounds and tests, but the source of the bleeding was in a "good" place (i.e. not impacting blood flow to the fetus), so once we found a heart beat after each episode, everything was ok. When the bleeding stopped, they even let me see a midwife (supervised by a high risk OB). I started having contractions around 21w. When I mentioned them to my midwife, she ordered an ultrasound and we saw that they were productive (i.e. my cervix was shortening as a result). I was immediately put on bedrest. When that didn't help, I was diagnosed with chorioamnionitis (an infection between the sacs in the uterus). I was given the option of delivering and hospice care (since he was too small for the available equipment) or antibiotics and labor stopping drugs combined with close monitoring in the hospital. I spent almost 4 weeks in the hospital on drugs to stop labor and strong antibiotics. Eventually, my water broke despite all of our efforts and I delivered at 26w. I was able to deliver vaginally. My little guy weighed in at a very hefty 2 pounds.

After he was born, the lab results showed that I had also had 2 partial placental abruptions - one in the early second trimester and a second immediately before my water broke.

My son is now 4 1/2 and doing great. Apparently, I am very lucky because the particular complication that I had is quite rare, difficult to treat (the antibiotics do not actually enter the amnionitic fluid, they are to help prevent sepsis), and very difficult to detect in time to make a difference.

My son was born at 24 weeks due to incompetent cervix. I went for my 20 week apt and I was dialated to 4 cm, they rushed me to L&D and I stayed in for 1 week was sent home on bed rest. at 23 weeks my water broke and back to L&D I went. I was in the hospital for another week and when I hit 24 weeks I started heving contractions and his heart rate droped with every one so they gave me meds to induce. I got the meds. mabye 5 mins and I told the doctor I felt pressure and he said I just checked you a min ago but I will check so he did and I was 10cm baby coming out. I just wanted to say " you idiot I've already got a weak cervix that dialates on its own and you just gave me meds to make me dialate of course its not going to take long!" Well he is 8 months old now and had some bad problems so he is still in the NICU.

I had vaginal for both. My son was born at 32 weeks, I didnt know I was in labor, I just kept feeling cramps in my lower back, I even registered for his baby shower. The next morning, my back was still bothering me and I noticed my 'plug' came out so I went to the doctor who informed me that I was 3 cm and to go to the hospital. They tried to stop the birth and about 60 HOURS LATER (yeah, 60), my son was born. I was scared, the doctors were saying he would have to stay for about 3 months initially. During the pregnancy, my doctor kept telling me to stop eating so much, but i didnt listen and I'm glad I didnt, he weighed 4lbs 9oz and thanks to that, he only stayed in NICU for 3 weeks. He would've weighed a ton if I would've made it full term though :-)

I had surgery to sew my cervix with my daughter and they were removed at 35 weeks, my contractions started as soon as the stitches came out. The contractions slowed but I was in constant pain, the doctor induced, she was born 12 hours later with the cord around her neck, she looked purple. But both are healthy and happy now.

Both of mine were c-sections first was an emergency and the second one they said it would be better in my case if I just had it c-section. Neither one of my children could handle the contractions and my placenta wasn't feeding them or giving them any nutrients. First one I tried normal but only dialated 3 cms and 90% defaced

Hi! I had pre-eclampsia and had been on bedrest since my 27th week. Before my 31st week, I was allowed by my doctor to go home and continue my bedrest there and but to continue with my weekly checkups.. on my 3rd day of bedrest at home, I had been feeling some contractions and some bleeding (I had had some bleeding before, so I was not soo alarmed but decided to have my checkup the following day... When the doctor checked me, I was already 6cm dilated! Was rushed to the delivery room and gave birth via normal delivery 2 hours later...

My son was born at 31 weeks and weighed 3.08lbs.

Im originally from Chi, but since this was my 1st baby and my mom lived in Vegas, we planned a 10day trip for me to come visit and for her to feel the baby kick.... you know all that sentimental stuff. The plan was for me to fly out spend 10 days with my mom, return and enjoy my baby shower and eventually my newborn baby. I checked with my doc 4days before my flight to confirm that both baby and I were healthy and had the green light for travel, we were.

Sunday evening I flew out, Mon there was no problems. Tuesday I woke with mild abdominal pressure and thought nothing of it. By that night it had escalated to strong abdominal pain. When I got to the hospital I was told that my placenta had ruptured and my baby was in distress. The preformed an emergency c-section and my little girl was born 9weeks early. She was born at 1:25am at 3lbs 11ozs. Her lungs were under developed so she was placed on 2 respiratory machines.

Now im in Vegas, my baby is in the NICU and all family and friends, including her father is back in Chicago shocked and just trying to catch up emotionally and mentally to the past 6days. Thankfully she is progressing and is now breathing completely on her own, but we still have a ways to go before she is discharged and even longer before we return to Chicago.

The day of my baby shower (haha) and my mothers birthday. 4:45am, i woke up in pain, got up, walked around the house for a bit, hoping it would stop hurting, but it didn't. at about 6, i crawled back into bed, and woke up my fiancee and said i was in pain, he asked the typical questions: "how bad is the pain" "where is the pain" "how often does it hurt" and i answered, i told him just to go back to sleep and that the pain would pass soon. 6:30 rolls around and im now rolling around the bed in pain, and now i know its not false labor like i suspected, so i woke my fiancee, and told him that the pain was getting closer together, and worse, and he asked if we needed to go to the hospital, and i said yes (im a firm hospital hater, they scare me, so me saying yes to the hospital was a big deal). so my fiancee called my mom at work, and said that we needed to go to the hospital (we would have just driven but the motor on the car blew a week or two before, and we had to go to the oshawa hospital because bowmanville hospital doesnt have a maternity ward anymore) so my mom leaves work early, and comes to get us. my fiancee helps me to the car, my mom tells him to hop in the drivers seat because he will get us there faster, and about 10 minutes later, we were at the hospital. they hooked me up to the monitors and all that jazz, asked me a bunch of questions, and kept checking in on me. After a while, the doctor gave me a shot thats supposed to dull the pain, and its supposed to last 6 hours...an hour and a half later i was in so much pain that the doctors were concerned. The doctor came in and gave me an internal, and came up with "water hasnt broken, theres no bleeding or dialating, but she's in labor and we have to go for a c section." my hubby later tells me that he pulled him aside and told him that the emergency c section needed to be done, and they had to get the baby out of me within an hour or the baby and/or i wouldn't make it. the nurse brought in consent forms, which i dont remember signing but apparently did (thanks nubane lol) and wheeled me down to the o.r. the doctor determined that i still hadnt dialated and my water still hadnt broken, etc, but we were still doing the c section. they got me ready for surgery, gave me an epidural (i remember my whole body shaking as the doctor said "hold perfectly still), i remember the doctor putting alot of pressure on my stomach and ribs, and asking the doctor if he was trying to break my ribs, looking at my fiancee telling him that he looked scared, then him being brave and peeking over the curtain, which he probably shouldnt have done, but he has an enquiring mind lol. one thing i dont remember that i wish i did, was when Chase was out, and the nurse held him up for daddy and i to see. dont remember that at all. After all was said and done, i asked my fiancee if the doctor said why i went into labor, and he said that there was an abruption in the placenta, most likely caused by the venous pools that my ob/gyn told me wouldnt be an issue. 3lbs 13oz, at 13:13 (13 minutes after the baby shower started lol) 7 weeks and 3 days early.

I had some bleeding and cramping the morning of a regular Dr appt so I went and he sent me to hosp. but thought it would only be overnight due to being 34 weeks preg. Later they discovered my fluid was down so decided to keep on bed rest at hosp while getting steroid shots for lung development and magnesium to stop contractions ( really nasty stuff). After 5 days they think they may have me stay another week in hosp. The next day they decided to do a c-section due to her being breech and low fluid. Turns out my uterus was small so she had no more room to grow and she is a beautiful healthy 3 yr old. She was in NICU for 21 days. .She weighed 3 lbs 15 oz

actually my daughter was a preemie. i sat in the hospital for 5 to 6 weeks waiting for the doctors to tell me why i was there. found out i had preeclampsia. i was induced at 33 weeks, my labor was fairly good. 4 hours, 2 without the spinal block. babe was born at 2Ibs 13oz, with nothing wrong. to me she was a miracle. all the doctors told me that the worst could be that she might not be fully developed cuz there was a blood block in the umbilical cord, that she may not paralyzed, a whole bunch of things, but she was all good and in 3 weeks i brought her home...lol

my twin girls were 31 weeks to the day.. i did go in to prem labour at 26 weeks but i hadnt dialated so they were able to stop my contractions with medications but after an ultrasound they found my cervix was shortened so i had to be airlifted to the city and was on bed rest for 5 weeks, at 30 +4 one of my twins ruptured her membrains, but i didnt dialate so i went back to my bed and had to stay there then at exactly 31 weeks i woke at 4:30am in labour... this time i had dialated at 8.19pm i gave birth naturally to my first daughter Indianna then at 8.35pm i gave birth naturally to my second daughter Taliyah.. my girls were rushed straight away to the nicu they stayed there for 6 days they were then transfered to special care but on day 7 Taliyah coded she had developed klebsiella oxytoca meningitus, we nearly lost her a few times but after 3 weeks in the nicu on and off the ventilator and cpap, 4 different antibiotics, and steriods she turned the corner and came good she was then transfered to special care where she was with her sister again they spent a tottal of 7 weeks in the hospital. They are now 18 weeks and 2 days old and doing great!!!..

My delievery was horrible! I was 26 wks pregnant and got extremely sick. I spent 45 days in the hospital and 30 of them on life support. I tested positive for the swine flu and then that turned into double pneumonia. My lungs were so bad I couldn't breath and I had a temp as high as 105!!!!! The Dr's finally decided 4 days after I had been on life support that they needed to take my daughter. Right before my water ending up breaking so there was no questioning she need to come into the world. So I had an emergency c-section the Dr. who took her had to do my c-section on me while I was sitting up because I would stop breathing if they would lay me down so he had to cut against all my muscles instead of with them! This was his first c-section he ever did on a woman sitting up. Plus I was already on life support and not awake. After, I had 4 blood transfussions! However our daughter was born July 9th and is doing awesome! She weighs 3 lbs 4 oz now and is getting stronger and bigger each and everyday! She is still in the NICU and will be until sometime in October. However I am finally home and getting better. Its really hard because this was my first baby and I didn't get to expierence labor, I don't get to breast feed, and I didn't even get to see her until she was over a month old. However I am so grateful that she was a fighter and is doing awesome now! Sorry this is so long, but this is how I had my premi!!! Good luck with your 3rd and congrats!!! xoxoxo

From the moment I found out I was expecting I was sick! Morning , noon and night! It didn't matter what I ate-if I ate at all! I was sick! I was in and out of the hospital and my doctors office so many times, I lost count! At 30wks I started contracting and bleeding and was given meds to stop them and put on bed rest. At 34 wks I went into the hospital with stomach pains and I was admitted. That was a Wednesday. Thursday night I was induced and ended up having an emergency C section Friday morning. Kyla was born at 34 wks and weighed only 3lbs 2oz. My experience has really discouraged me from having another. Anyone else feel that way? My mom says every pregnancy is different-my first was HORRIBLE!! She is the love of my life now but I really did not enjoy it.
