My name is Nikki Nixon Witt and my son Ethan fought for his life 3 months in Nicu in 2006. I know GOd's will was for Ethan to have life and God's mercy was shown to Ethan and I ........
I too needed support as Lydia does and I also have my faith of which pulled me through the scariest time in my 42 years of life. I know GOd has his reasons for bringing back home to heaven some of the preemies He chose . I know God has a plan and His will to be done for the preemies whom survive . I am only human and can never claim to know God's will for all preemies but no matter what I wanted to take the time to offer a moment of prayer for Jolie and all preemies fighting right now. I believe in the power of prayer and my son had that yet at the time of his fight I knew nothing about circle of Moms which for me has been a wonderful place to share, pray, learn and help each other cope no matter the outcome.
I wanted to pray today for all the families whom God chose to bring back home his children and pray these families are coping well with God's love for them. I also wanted to pray today for His children struggling to survive and will pull through . I believe with my whole heart there is a reason for both outcomes of which I cannot understand but again it's not my place to question God. I can only thank God for my son Ethan's life. MY son's survival through God's mercy changed my heart , soul and way of life forever. GOd saved my soul through sparing my son's life so now I want to ensure my son grows up grateful to HIS FATHER the Lord.
I wish I knew each of you personally and I wish I would have known about this site in 2006 but again I know GOd is responsible for Ethan's outcome.
It is not my intention to offend anyone whom may have another faith , I simply wanted to share our story and pray for all of you Mothers today and your precious preemies during their struggle. May God Bless you all ,
