I was told not to worry about a grade I bleed. After her 12 month checkup, she had stiff legs and a decreased tone in her shoulders. They suspect cerebral palsy but won't know until shes 2! They recommend physical therapy. I asked the PT what her diagnosis was and she seemed uneasy and didn't want to hurt me. I'm going crazy. Why don't they know yet!?

My 10 month old has CP and she had a grade 3 and a grade 4 bleed. I had to ask for my diagnosis to try to get her more help because she is so delayed. I think they try to avoid labeling at such a young age.

Grade 1 bleeds are very minor, they may of caused a mild form of CP but may not of there could of been another reason! use Pt and OT and hopefully this will resolve, they don't dignoise untill age 2 because it may change, at 2 it basically stays the same!
My 24 weeker who is 18 months 11.7 lbs has a grade 4 bleed, has CP but they can't dignoise it until 2! I stretch and massage him 4 times a day, ask pt to show you how! My son is starting to lossen but it's a struggle every day
Good luck
