don't understand tested positive for the ffn test and having contractions about 2-3min appart for about 4days now and since I had the steroids shots to delevope baby's lungs their not keeping me in hospital I'm only 30 weeks and 4 days but not dialating with the contraction they don't hurt all the time some are more intense than others' lots of tighting and cramps with pressure down low but doc are more worried about me getting the preclamsia with the high blood presure than me going into labor with the contractions cuase I'm not dilating but I tested possitive for the ffn test so frustrated don't know what to do had my daughter at 35 1/2 weeks and my son at 33 1/2 weeks and I don't want to have this one early, with my son I had contractions for about 2-3 weeks the same as now cramps tighting and pressure before I was dilated to 3cm and 60% thin out and was put in hospital they had me on magnesium to get the shots in me to develope his lungs then took me off and had him the next day I discussed with my doc that I've already had the shots and if they can controll the contractions with the mag so I don't cont. to go into labor that we would do that but that's not what their doing I'm confused why I'm I not dilating with these contractions and is the same happing now that happened with my son dilating will be a few weeks from now or these real or bh and why arn't they doing anything bout this.

Something is obviously happening. You have all of the symptoms of preeclampsia. I would be getting a second opinion from a doc that knows what the hello they're talking about. Find a doc that specializes in high risk pregnancies. Did the doctor put you in to the high risk category from the start?
