stressed out mom please help......

I had my son who is now 8 at 33 weeks he was 7 weeks early my daughter was 5 weeks early now I'm pregnant with my 3rd and have complications like highblood presure and gestational dibeates I'm only 7months exactly 28 weeks n 5 days already had to get shots of steroids to develope baby's lungs cause the docs are talking like I'm going to deliver early again. been on bed rest since 16 weeks of pregnancy but with a husband who works full time and 2 kids with a lot of energery and no one to help me it's hard to only stay in bed. I was just wandering if there is any advice for me out there so I don't deliver too early. never got to have my babies right after they were born and take them home this is our last one and wanted to be able to do that this time. also was wandering if any one delivered this early with the same complications and what to expect if it does happened? My feet and legs have been realy swollen the last couple of days even with rest and propping them up along with my blood pressure being high not just elevated and worried this might be turning into preclamsia.Thank you for any advise anyone can give

It's crazy because each pregnancy can be very different. When I had my son it was a normal pregnancy and he was full term but when I had my daughter it was completely different I had blood pressure issues and was in and out the hospital a lot and ended up having her at 29 weeks. So you never know what to expect but just continue to rest and if you can get your mom to come help or a friend so that you can be off your feet as much as possible.

thank you amanda for ur advise i have my mom comming in a couple of weeks to help me with everything hopefully I can make it that long, as for the kids my daughter who is 13 helps as much as a 13 yr old girl will but my son is consently saying how bored he is all the time he has a wii and cable and nothing is ever good enough he always wants me to take him to cousin's house to play with the boys no young kids around here I guesse he just does'nt understand but thank you

I delivered my son at 27 weeks due to preeclampsia and hellp syndrome. Definitely get the swelling checked out because that does sound like preeclampsia and you don't want it to get so bad that you have seizures. As for resting, I know that must be difficult with kids but maybe you can have family help you out?? Or maybe ask your kids nicely if they can just take it easy on you. Pop in movies or video games to get there attention focused on one thing. Luckily they gave you the steroid to mature your baby's lungs. I wasn't able to get that and my son had a lot of breathing complications. He's perfectly fine now though:) So in case you do have to deliver early, there's a great chance that your baby will have minimal complications. Try not to stress either because that definitely does not help your blood pressure.
