My daughter was born 9 weeks premmie, weighed 3 pounds & 11 ounces, stayed in hospital 4 weeks, she had many challenges. She was not able to walk un-assisted, she needed support to sit up, drooled constantly, developmentally delayed, frequent body tremors, some seizure like episodes, kind of in a daze all the time, clenched left hand, choking on her food, speach problems, left side weakness etc. She was elevated on her toes when holding her to walk, she was splinted for a leg brace & they wanted to give her botox, but after researching botox and discovering how it’s made and there were no long term studies I decided against it. Her life was restricted & so was mine ...and it looked this way for the rest of her life ... & mine. I felt hopeless.

We were attending all sorts of treatments and therapies which cost a lot. A friend told me about some special wellness supplements from a particular company, she started taking them in her yogurt, after one week she was up walking un-assisted, it made an immense difference to her brain function, memory, balance, mood & cognition in a short space of time. She began to thrive. I was elated!

I am so grateful to the person that told me about this incredible technology. She now has a life now ….. and so do I. It’s now over 14 yrs later and she continues to take these special nutrients, she has attended normal public schools, she is almost 16, in a few weeks she begins driving lessons and has just started an after school casual job in a fast paced food takeaway. Now she is taller than me.

my little jenna was born 2lb 6oz at 28wks she fought in the nicu for 3 months. she didnt meet milestones quickly and didnt learn to walk until about 17 -18 months old and now she will be 2 at the end of feb and she is 21lbs. Im told by her DT she is advanced overall compared to full term 2 year olds! This is amazing to me considering she was still so far behind in the summer time, im so proud of her :) you never know what theyre going to do its a suprise

well my not so little premmies are now at school, the one who was 2lb 12 is now 27kg and 120 cm the other who was 2lb 15 is now 25kgs and 119cm so size wise they have caught up and passed a lot of other 5yr olds. Developemently with 1 u would have no idea he was a prem while we are working through a few issues with the other :)

My Daughter was a 27weeker she was 1.5 and she is 3 months behind but she is healthy happy what more can I ask for and she is little over 10lb

My son was born at 34.5 weeks. He will be 6 months tomorrow (!) and is the size of the average 1 year old. He caught up to size when he was about 3 months old and then took off like a shot. He has met and surpassed every milestone, and is ahead of several of my friends' full-term children who are approximately the same age. He's very smart, and pretty healthy. Our biggest problems with him have been eating when he was born (refused to) and sleeping (goes through cycles where he refuses to sleep, and then sleeping is all he wants to do). He's working on his first tooth and has recently figured out a sippy cup.

My son was born at 33 weeks. He is almost 18 months old and has been behind on most milestones as expected but nothing that anyone was ever worried about. He just started walking over the weekend! He caught up with size by 9 months. He has asthma but doing well.

My daughter McKaylah was born at 32 weeks! She is coming 5 Feb 23rd,! She amazes me everyday after the long fight she had in the nicu! She spent 4 weeks there and then spent another week in the hospital after she came home! Everytime her b-day rolls the day of her birth always plays in my mind! I am so happy to have such a wonderful little girl who is very wize beyond her years! And to have such a figher, I dont know what i would of do without her! She really is my miracle!!!

My boy girl twin premmies were born at 31 weeks. They turned two a couple of days ago. My little girl is bounding ahead and is more like a 3 year old with speach and is the average size of a 2 year old. My boy is a bit behind with most things, but is getting there. He's more like a 18 month old with speach, but is really tall and in the 95th percentile for size.

my daughter was born at 29 weeks. she has spots on her brain so they expected her to be behind on a lot of things. but she is now 16 months old and has hit every milestone at or ahead of schedule! :) little fighters :) the only thing shes behind on is her height and weight. she only wears about a 6month in clothing so its funny to see her running around! im glad your daughter is doing well! you should always remember, though, all babies grow and develope differently. even the full termers. milestones that you might hear from a doctor arent an exact. every baby is so special and different in many ways! thats the miracle of it!

My son was also born at 33wks. He's now 8mths(7mths adjusted). I think the only thing it took him a while to do was sit up. He didn't start sitting up on his own until he was a little over 7mths. He's now crawling, trying to pull up and he has two teeth. He's also average height and weight has been since six months!

Jax is now 7 months old, born at 25 weeks, so adjusted 3 1/2 months. He's doing well. He is smiling and making all sorts of noises. Still having trouble with head control and unable to roll over but he's almost got it, so nothing too big.
