HELLP Syndrome 33 weeks. My son was 5lbs even which was a surprise to everyone (he was measuring in at 2lbs...their measurement techniques suck...)

My son was born at 24 weeks 1 lb 7 oz due to incompetent cervix. I was dialated to 4 cm at 20 weeks but kept him in and then my water broke at 23 weeks and he was born at 24. He is doing good now. I am pregnant now with another son and had to have a cerclage because of my IC and I have made it to 33 weeks so far and going strong.

My son was born at 32 weeks at 6lb 12oz due to undiagnosed gestational diabetes, my first son was born at 36 weeks due to the same problem. Didn't find out until he was moved to a hospital that was better equiped to deal with premature babies.

I had an emergency c-section and was put to sleep and she was born at 28 weeks weighing 2lbs 11oz her lowest weight was 2lbs 6oz. She is now 5 months old.

My daughter was delivered at 25 weeks.. She was delievered by emergancy c section due to toximia that turned preeclamtic. She only weighed 453 gms (that's 1 gram less than a pound)

my son was born at 37 weeks weighing 5lb 15oz, due to me having severe pre-eclampsia and placental abrubtion. it was a good few weeks before my midwife appts and i belive i had pre-eclampsia for a few weeks before it was picked up. when they realised i had placental abruption they had to get him out IMMEDIATLY as they then realised he was not getting enough (if any) oxygen. i was also taken into hospital at 27 weeks due to losing amniotic fluid without the bag being fully broken. had to have steroid injections to try and streghthen my sons lungs as they thought i was going into labour. 3 years on, 4 nect month my son is a healthy little boy but was diagnosed with autism earlier this year, any link to a traumatic pregnancy and birth?? guess il never know!!

my son was born at 29wks weighing 2lb 9oz i had him early as my waters broke at 19wks and i managed to keep him there for another 10wks by going and havin water put bk in every week till he was born

my daughter was born at about 33 weeks. She was born early because of alot of preterm contractions and labor.. Also she scored low on the BPP test and low amniotic fluid and then also kept having dips in her heart rate.. spent a month in the NICU

My daughter (now 2) was born on 34 weeks and weighed 1.14kg. The doctor had to do a C-section due to her having IUGR (irregular utery growth restriction) She is still small, but doing really great!

My son Jamie was born at 27wks 3 days weighing 2lb 4. The reason he was early so i found out was because i ruptured and needed emergancy c section,but to this day i havnt been told why.

I have had two preemies. My son was born at 28wks, 2lbs 8.5oz, and my daughter at 33wks, 4lbs 2oz. With my son they thought it was stress induced. I was in a very unhealthy relationship and I was a 1st grade teacher on my feet all day. By the time I got to the hospital I was already at 5cm and they couldn't stop my contractions with the \magnesium drip. I had him vaginally without meds. With my daughter I took all the precautions...the progesterone shot, pelvic and bedrest, and weekly ultrasounds and stress testing. At 26wks I started to go into labor with her. They were able to stop my labor fortunately but went ahead and gave me two doses of steroids to mature her lungs just in case. My water broke at 33wks and because she was breech I had to have an emergency c-section. While the OB was getting her out he noticed that my uterus had a septum in it. They called it a divided uterus. They said that was why my babies came so early....there was no room in my womb!

my daughter was 30 weeks. she weighed 3lb 2 oz. I was supposed to have an emergency csection but instead i delivered her breech vaginally. the reason she was so premature was because during my 2nd trimester I was leaking fluid constantly, not a lot but enough that she didnt have much in there to allow her to move around like she should.

My oldest was born on Jan 6th of 91 she ws to be born towards the end of Jan of 91. she weighed 5lbs 1 oz. She was in the hospital for a week to a week and a half. My middle child was to be born somewhere around the first week of Feb 94 but was born Dec. 23rd of 93. She was born at 3lbs 5 oz. She was in the hospital for a month to a month and a half. she has high functioning Autism. My youngest got to go home on time even though she was born early. She was to be born Dec 23rd of 94 but was born Nov. 13th of 94. the only reason she got to go home on time was because the doctor had stopped the contractions so her lungs would develop and boy did they. She came out screaming. She was born at 5lbs 6ozs. All three of my girls where born naturally.

They have no idea why I go into preterm labor. The second time around I was on progesterine injections (every wk) and also had a cerclage put in at 20wks.

My daughter was born at 26 weeks and weighed in at 1 lb 5 oz and measured 12 inches long. I went in for a scheduled glucose testing and then landed in the hospital for preeclamsia. Since all the nurses and doctors were making me even more nervous, my blood pressure spiked even higher and baby showed signs of distress. Had an emergency c-section.

Markie was born at 33 weeks 6 days and weighed 5lbs. 6 oz. I started having contractions the Friday before he was born. They gave me pills and sent me home. The day before he was born I went in for my NST. They were having a hard time finding/keeping his heartbeat. They sent me to the hospital for observation and did a biophysical profile. They decided to keep me over night and do another one the following morning. When they did the BPP on the morning he was born, he had gotten worse. They decided he needed to come out in order to survive. His apgars were middle of the road and he was in the NICU for 3 weeks due to complications.
Ben was born at 35 weeks and was 5lbs. 3 oz. He came early because I went into pre-eclampsia.

I was 27 weeks along I went into labor,they could not stop my contractions no matter what they did, The had to do a c'section on me, my late son was in the breech position , He weigh 1 lb, 15 1/2 inches long 14 oz. the doctors said he would not make it. He lived 7 hours and passed away in my arms,, this was in 1988, but now days they have more knowledge and better doctors.

My middle daughter was born a week early out of the other 2, she did great 7 lb. 6.5 oz, 20 inches long.

Best wishes, make sure they keep her in the incubator , they did not keep my son in one and that was what killed him.

My twins were born at 32 w 4 d at 3.7 and 3.5 lbs. The reason they were early is 1) abdomnal surgery 9 days prior to fix a torn rectus abdominus muscle which probably irritated my uterus and triggered dialation leading to 2) bleeding due to placenta previa. Emergency csection. They were born within an hour of arrival to the hospital. Now 5 months and perfect!!

My daughter Millie was born at 28 weeks + 5 days and weighed 2 pounds 7oz. I had a placental abruption for some known reason and had heavy bleeding internally - we were both not very well!
