My son is 15 months old, born 6 weeks early, 21lb. He has Triplegia Spastic CP and he is still not sitting unassisted or crawling walking etc. He does roll all over the place though and LOVES to be in his Jumperoo. I was just wondering if it would be safe to turn him forward facing or if I should keep him rear facing, what mile stones did your tot reach before you switched? How old was your tot?

When my daughter was diagnosed with infantile complex partial seizures, around 14 months.

Wait as long as possible - in car accidents children rear facing don't internally decapitate themselves - whereas forward facing have a much higher rate of this happening. In Europe they rear face (in didn't seats to ours) until up to six. Hope that helps!

i changed my son at his first birthday my nurse told me that the rule of thumb is that if their feet touch the seat they can be changed.
