I formula feed my twins, and If I warm up their bottles I do the same bottle no more than 2 times and both are fine. I'm not exactly sure why you're not suppose to re-warm bottles. My sister said at least with formula it's a way for the companies to make more money.

hmm.. i don't know the answer to this one. Perhaps it could remove nutrients if you are cooling it and then heating it up and cooling it again. Or more likely maybe it has something to do with bacteria growing after being warmed up the first time. I know that if the bottle was put to her lips then apparently bacteria from her mouth can contaminate the milk and make it unsafe for subsequent feedings. But really if it was me i'd just save the darn bottle! I did read on one of my breastmilk storage bags that fresh breastmilk can sit at room temp for 5 hours or so. Maybe just don't refrigerate it (if you are using it that day). Then you take out the amount you want to use, put it in a bottle and give it to her at room temp, or slightly warm. good luck and let me know if you find out the answer to this!
