could someone tell me when do you start to give prem babies food i have one that was born at 30 weeks thanks kylene

hey. my son was a 30weeker as well i breastfeed so i didnt start till about or almost 7months bc theydr. said that if u breastfeed you dont have to start giving food till six months i dont know if your doing so or not... best of luck!

my son was born at 30 weeks, hes now 29 weeks old i started him on rusk/baby rice when he was around 4 months old. hes now havin 3 lots of solids a day. i decided to try him on solids because he was always putting his hands to his mouth and he would watch us eat.

Well i'm a first time mom of a beautiful baby boy born at 29wks, I haven't started feeding my son food yet and he is 3 and 1/2 months now. His doctor told me to start him on cereal when he was around 4 months, and I have already done so not to long ago. He said to start him on baby food when he starts taking that good... Somewhere between 4 1/2 months to 5 months. Hope that helps. :)
