My son likes beets, avacado, peas, pears, apples, mango, carrots, sweet potato, and squash. He eats whatever he gets offered so far. He is 8 months (actual) 6 1/2 months (adjusted).

He he he! We're working on finger foods at the moment! Lots of mess. My bubba decided that he no longer wanted to be breastfed about a month ago (I made it to 11mths uncorrected) and has one bottle a day. He has water in a sippy cup and when he's a year old(next month), I'll be giving him a shock when I take away his last bottle and start milk in his sippy cup too!! Mean mummy!!!

She was 5 weeks early. Born Dec 16th. She is only breast feeding about 1-2 times / day. Gets abottle about 4 times and her fruits and veggies 2-3 times. I know it will be hard to take thebottle away and it will be Christmas at that-LOL

What gestation was your baby? Mine was 3 months early so when he was 6 months old, he was only three months corrected and therefore couldn't handle things that weren't pureed. I started with baby rice then went on to the same as you as well as sweet potato, swede, apple, pear, banana, avocado and papaya. As I was lactose intolerant as a baby, I waited to introduce yoghurt and cheese. After he'd had a few different types, I then gave mixes of the above and also added things like peas and corn (that I had strained to get rid of the skins).

Good luck with weaning. I found it to be loads of fun.
