My son is a premee but he is now 4 months old .he seems to have very bad gas, he vomits almost everything he eats. he cant really hold anything down. has anyone else had this? what did u do? i have tried changing the formula 3 times

My first son was like this, and just cried all the time too. It took us 4 months and a lot of stress untill we finally discovered what it was. he was lactose intolerant and so we put himonto formula milk by SMA which is lactose free. This worked a treat and was a different baby from the moment we changed his milk. He grew out of the intolerance by about a year which is normal. I hope this may be of some use, x

Talk to your peditrician you baby proably has gastrophagal reflux, which can be easily treated with medicine depending on how bad it is. They will do an endoscope on him and test his feedings while watching him eat and see if it stays down. My son was born 28 wks premature and he had reflux, he had a feeding tube for 6 months and they had to do a stomach wrap called a nissen fundoplication where they wrap his stomach around his esophugus so food can go in but can't come out he was unable to burp or throw up so yes he had a lot of gas and goes to bathroom. He is 15 now and still has the wrap but he does burp alittle now but still lot of gas. So if your son is vomiting alot I would defianatly talk to your peditrian because he can cause alot of damage to his esophugus and could choke. Good luck Hope I helped alittle.

Talk to your ped. My daughter was like that after I had her, and they put her on Prevacid for a while. She eventually grew out of it.

My son had issue with vomitting everything he ate and it was b/c he had severe GERD. Have your doctor check into reflux, and maybe try Mylicon for the gas or a warm towel on his belly.
