What is the earliest in your pregnancy that you could give birth, i have experianced a miscarrage, and was wondering when and if it happened if my baby would be okay, or if i would be just getting my hopes up?! Im 21 weeks now.. so what do all you mommys think?

I was hospitalized at 25 weeks and my son was born the day of my 29th week he was in the NICU for 54 day and is a out going (soon to be 2) 2year old. One thing I can say being this was my 3rd time having a premie is if you feel something is right or wrong go with it, tell the doctor don't let them tell you.

God Bless

In NZ 24 weeks is considered to be viable as well. My 28 wker is now 6yr and suffering no major complications. I do, however teach a 12yr old who was born at 22 weeks and has serious developmental delays. the later the better really, depending on if the problems are with you or the baby. I'm sure all will go well for you.

In the UK viability is considered to be 24 weeks. However I know 23 week old babies who are doing ok. My son was born at 27 weeks and is doing fine. I had two miscarriages before, and this time had pre eclampsia, which was nothing to do with the miscarriages. Try not to worry!
