Does anyone else volunteer for the March of Dimes? I started last year when my son was born prematurely. I am on an event planning committee and also participating in the March for Babies walk. Our coordinator is new this year I was hoping someone had some tips or ideas for how the opening ceremony went on the day of the walk.

I don't volunteer for the March of Dimes but my family and I always donate. In 2006 my son and I were guests on the March of Dimes telethon here in Greenville, MS. Every we always have the telethon between the months of February and March. My son was born at 33 weeks due to a placental abruption. He has cerebral palsy, sickle cell disease, asthma, and seizures.
