my son name is samuel he was born at 33 weeks (7 weeks early) he weighed excatly 4 pounds he had no help with his breathing he did really well he was only in the incubater for 1 week and was in a cot for a week then came home which was the best moment of my life he is now 1 years old and doing very well

they are very amazing samuel couldnt suck til he was a week old, he had a tube though his nose till about 3 b4 he came home but other wise he did really well samuel just gets really bad colds and they last 4eva

Hello, I am the mom of a 33 weeker too! She is now 8 1/2 and has no difficulties from being that early. She was able to breath, suck and swallow right away and only spent 1 week in the NICU. She weighed 4 pounds 2 ounces at birth and was 16 1/4 inches long. Preemies are amazing, aren't they!

he also had a few problems he gets really bad colds and does not sleep through the nite yet he wakes for a bottle then goes back to sleep
