My daughter was born 9 weeks premmie, weighed 3 pounds & 11 ounces, she had many challenges. She was not able to walk un-assisted, she needed support to sit up, drooled constantly, developmentally delayed, frequent body tremors, some seizure like episodes, kind of in a daze all the time, clenched left hand, choking on her food, speach problems, left side weakness etc. She was elevated on her toes when holding her to walk, she was splinted for a leg brace & they wanted to give her botox, but after researching botox and discovering how it’s made and there were no long term studies I decided against it. Her life was restricted & so was mine ...and it looked this way for the rest of her life ... & mine. I felt hopeless.

We were attending all sorts of treatments and therapies which cost a lot. A friend told me about some special wellness supplements from a particular company, she started taking them in her yogurt, after one week she was up walking un-assisted, it made an immense difference to her brain function, memory, balance, mood & cognition in a short space of time. She began to thrive. I was elated!

I am so grateful to the person that told me about this incredible technology. She now has a life now ….. and so do I. It’s now over 14 yrs later and she continues to take these special nutrients, she has attended normal public schools, she is almost 16, in a few weeks she begins driving lessons and has just started an after school casual job in a fast paced food takeaway. Now she is taller than me.

Hi my daughter was born at 25 weeks gestation weighing 715grams, her length was 30cm, she is now 4 and half years old and a tiny one, she was 91cm tall when she started Kindergarten this year and she is no 97cm she only put a few inches on. Her weight now is only 14.5kg. My daughter hasn't catch up as yet but it will take longer for her to catch up with her peers. My son was born at 33 weeks and only just started walk at 16 and half months. But they will eventually catch up it will just take them a little bit longer.

My son was born at 3lbs 15oz and 16.5 inches long. He's now six months corrected and is 16lbs 8oz and 26 inches long. He was on Enfamil Enfacare from the time he was born until he was five months corrected. His doctor was happy with the amount of weight he had put on from using the Enfamil so she said it was ok for me to take him off of that and now he's currently on Good Start. The first two months he was home we had him weighed every two weeks and was gaining a pound a week.

melissa my lil girl weighed 1lb 1oz and was around 22cm when she was born shes now 6 months but corrected age of 3 and now weighs 8lb 9 and is the size of her corrected age well maybe a few cm behind when she was in nnu she came off my milk and then put onto formula for pre terms neocate i think that one was then she went to infantrini shes back in an english hospital as our local one couldn't look after her when she had her blip. when she left jersey she was on pre term sma then in southampton shes back to infantfini and hopefully aptimal which is what i would like her to be on when she does finally leave hospital (shes not left since she was born) i have a few ffriends who have given birth around the same week as me (28) and also others at 30 weeks and there kids have caught up we have to expect them to be small at first as they wheren't big when they where born, my brother was premature 33 years ago weighing about 2lb he is now 6ft 6 so don't panic she will catch up in time probally when she is about to start nursery also when she starts on solids she may also start growing the right way,i hope this helps a lil good luck with your fighter

Amariela was a 32 weeker weighing 2 lbs. 11 oz. 15 inches long. And now at 34 months old she weighs 27 lbs. and is 36 inches tall.

And she always followed her own curve so her ped. never really was concerned about her weight. She finally jumped on the normal weight curve at her 24 month check up and thats the 3rd percentile so who knows right now where she is at.

I would not worry all to much as long as she is gaining and not losing weight she is doing good.
