Just letting Sacramento Mom's know about a great event coming in Spring. I help run a bi-annual kid's consignment event where local mom's recycle their outgrown kid's stuff for cash and purchase super-discounted items they need for the next season. Check out Just Between Friends at www.jbfsale.com/sacramento. The next sale is coming March 11th - 13th at the Sacramento Convention Center and another one in Roseville in April and in Folsom in May. Participating Moms not only benefit their family and the community, but most donate unsold items to the Sacramento Food Bank Family Services Mother-Baby Program. Anyone can participate. Registration for the Spring/Summer event opens January 1st. I'm so excited!

There are sights like craigslist and listia that you can list your clothes and others will bid on them. You can bid on others items also. Listia uses credits that you earn by listing your items. Then people bid on them and you win the credits to use for things you might want. Good for anything you might like. The only cash used is for the shipping. Sometmes that's free too. A great win win fun place to meet and get to know others. I love it.

Where/when is the one in Folsom/May? (More details?) What is included in the registration? Fees? And why do we need to register, if it's just a clothes swap? Lastly, can we bring clothes, and trade them the same day for others? (i.e. Pants for shorts, shirt for shirt?)

That sounds like a lot of fun!!! I usually give my kids' clothes to friends that have younger kids or donate them to a thrift store =)
