Hi new to the group small introduction. mom of 2 kids w/ SPD

my name is carmen i live in kissimmee, florida. i have 2 children jaylen who is 3 and emelyn who is 18 months old. Jay was diagnosed at 20 months i detected something was wrong when he would become aggressive or easily irritated by routine things, such as eating, bathing, things like that. Eme is going to be evaluated in 2 months to see if see suffers the same symptoms as her brother, he's now in the PEEP program at a school that offers Pre-K for developmentally delayed children. He love it it allows him a full days worth of activities with children that have the same problems as him. Hope to meet moms in the area who's children also have SPD!

Welcome to the group! I have found it very helpful to connect with other Mom's who have similar stories. I have three children; my oldest daughter is 11, another daughter age 8, and my youngest is my boy, he's 5. My son has diagnosed SPD, but I suspect a degree of SPD in my girls as well. I am a home-school stay at home mom, my husband works 40+ hours a week, often much more. It can be rough dealing with SPD, but support groups like this do help. Good to see you here. I hope you find it as helpful as I have.
