My 8 year old son was diagnosed when he was 4 years old. Lately we have been have severe behavior issues; rudeness, disrespect, swearing, potty talk, ext.
Do other parents encounter these issues too? If so, how do you handle it? At Home? In Public? In School?

My son is 9yrs old and has autism , Hes also going through puberty and his attute has came back again lol. and the rude talk and back chatting me and everything else. I ground him and if he keeps it up I take all his toys out of hes room and tell him he cant have them back until he behaviors himself and that works for me , Maybe try that .good luck

Has something changed in his life? A friend move away? A new bully at school? A different teacher? A new friend?
My son recently used the word @$$ in front of me. I told him in no uncertain terms that I would not tolerate that word being used. He hasn't used it since, luckily. I have explained to him in the past that there are words and phrases that adults use that he can not use until he is 18. He gets that. But it turned out his new friend used that word and so my son thought he would give it a try.
SPD kids aren't bad kids. But they have less ability than non-SPD kids to deal with the world. Something in his world is probably off, but he doesn't know how to put it to words. The best we can do as parents is to discipline the inappropriate actions and try to figure out what is going wrong in his world and help him to handle it or fix it. I hope this helps!
